We apologies ! As you all know we are updating the website which has grown bigger and attracting a heavy traffic.

We would like you to keep patience.We have remodelled a more robust and interactive system and the testing phase is going on.

Maithilvivah is undergoing an updation.We are trying to retire older codes with new one.
As we can not stop the website and do updation we are trying to apply way the around approach.
As a result the website is crashing on a few moments.We apologize for this..

New technologies and data mining strategies keep evolving in this arena so its an endless journey...

We do not welcome script kiddies and casual surfers.

Maithilvivah was started with a serious motive to faciliate matches for maithil brahmins across the world.

We feel disappointed when people test our forms with garbage details.We really care our expensive resources.

we found some one filled 0000 in phone field.
One even tried to insert some contact details after the form was excepted.

We caught those users with our tracking systems that runs and gathers data all the time.

We had strict policy from the beginning to delete those profiles without a second thought.We do record IP and employ other methods to pin point , the evil's ,spoiling our cause.

Maithivivah Suggests you to upload...

1.Profile photos which are your own.
2.Photos should be of high quality and preferably not from a web cam.
3.Our resizer program automatically resizes the images according to the portal specifications so you may upload any size pic.
4.Try to upload close photographs as they solve your purpose better.
5.Try to upload photos not bigger in size than 600KB. (we are working on it.)

Login problem for some members now corrected.

Some of our new members could not able to login in to their account yesterday.
The problem was related to the routine maintenance of the portal.

But we assure you that we read your emails and always try to implement your good suggestions.

We are testing RSS feeds

Maithilvivah will be providing RSS feeds to bloggers and web masters for easy integration of mv profiles.

We will soon be updating the developers page of our official site.Not to repeat javascript snippets will be replaced by RSS feeds.

This was introduced in addition to the previous two methods.

What we do not have in hands !

If you had tried to access maithilvivah on feb 25th you must have felt that the site is down.Well that is what it happened.We were bombarded with so much traffic that our servers could not handle it.

Now that we are not Google you understand that this is beyond our control.Still this has taught us a lesson about load balancing.We will keep this in mind.

We feel happy that our small application (maithilvivah) has been found usable among so many maithil-brahmins world wide.

We need to be more alert , responsible and crash proof !
